- May 2: Became a partner at US Department of Labor's Summer Jobs+ initiative
- April 13: Welcomed Seyi Ajibola to our Advisory Committee
- March 13: This website reached visitors from over 100 nations worldwide
- March 9: Filed the paperwork for our 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status
- February 14: The Buckminster Fuller Challenge included the Foundation in its 2012 Idea Index
- February 2: Engaged pro-bono help of Mark S. Maruyama, CPA, with our 501(c)(3) filing
2011
- December: The Advanced Consortium on Cooperation, Conflict and Complexity (AC4) at Columbia University included the Foundation as part of its Global Organizations resource list
- November 7: Sparked.com welcomed the Foundation to the list of Nonprofits for its microvolunteers
- October 17: Engaged the pro-bono help of Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP with our HR policies
- September 27: The Board of Directors ratified the Foundation's By-laws and Conflict of Interest Policy
- September 14, 15 & 26: Peter Bergel, Executive Director of Oregon PeaceWorks and founding editor of The PeaceWorker, included the Foundation as part of the "Widespread Mobilization Below the Mainstream Radar" in HuntingtonNews.net's article: "COMMENTARY: Our future is not being televised." subsequently, the article appeared in New Clear Vision under the title "Moving the Paradigm" and PeaceVoice under "Our Future Is Not Being Televised"
- July 26: Peace Direct began listing the Foundation on the International Peacebuilders page of its Insight on Conflict site
- June 14: Launched official site: http://www.fgcnp.org
- May 28: Kunzang began as our first Science Liaison Intern
- April 27: Engaged the pro-bono help of Fulbright & Jaworski LLP with our 501(c)(3) filing
- March 25: Lira Kamat (Odxel LLC) began developing our website as a volunteer
2010

- September 14: Partnered up with World Volunteer Web
- June 23: Our first Intern, Amanda, began working for the Foundation as a Press Liaison
- June 14: Incorporated as a non-profit in New York State
- June 2: Became a Finalist in F3fundit's Next Top Startup Barcelona Competition
- May 12: Published the Universal Human Commonalities page on our blog "Chronicles of a Non-profit"

- January 22: Lillian Wang and Stephen Payne joined as Board Members
